Privacy policy

This site is operated by M.A.D Innovate Tech (“MadTec,” “we,” “us”). It is the public marketing site for our web studio: websites, aggregation, smart applications, smart forms, and online stores.

Mission-critical operations products are offered separately at madtec.ai. That site has its own terms. This policy covers the web studio site you are on now.

This is a marketing and contact site. There is no customer login, no account dashboard, and no product database sitting behind this page. We are not selling ads on it, and we are not running a newsletter signup unless we add one later and say so here.

The contact form prepares an email in your own mail client with the name, email address, company, project type, and notes you typed. If you send that message, we receive it at hello@madtec.ai.

We use that information to reply about your project, to understand what you want built, and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell it. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask. If you include other people’s information in the notes (for example a colleague’s email), don’t — send us yours, and we’ll ask for anything else we need.

The host that serves this site may record ordinary web-server logs: IP address, date and time, pages requested, referrer, and browser or device information. We use that to keep the site up, to debug errors, and to notice abuse. We do not use server logs to build marketing profiles.

Your light or dark theme choice is stored in your browser under the key madtec-theme. That value stays on your device. We do not receive it.

We use local storage for the theme preference described above. We do not currently set advertising cookies or a third-party analytics pixel on this studio site. If that changes, we will update this policy before we turn it on.

Project emails are kept as long as we need them to do the work and to keep a normal business record (quotes, scope, what we agreed). If you want a message deleted, write us. We will delete it unless we have to keep it for a legal or accounting reason, in which case we will say so.

We do not sell your information. We may share a project email with a contractor who is helping us build your site, and only as much as they need. Our hosting provider sees the server logs described above. If we are required by law to disclose something, we will do that, and we will tell you if we are allowed to.

Links to madtec.ai and other sites are not covered by this policy. Their rules apply once you leave this studio site.

This site is for people who want a website built for a business or organization. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think we have, write us and we will delete it.

You can close the contact form without sending anything. You can email us instead of using the form. You can ask what we have from you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete a brief you sent. You can also ask us not to contact you again about a project.

If you are in a place with additional privacy rights (for example the EEA, UK, or certain U.S. states), we will honor requests that apply to us. This studio site is small; most of what we hold is email you chose to send.

We use HTTPS on this site. Email is not a perfect channel. Don’t put passwords, payment card numbers, or other secrets in the project notes. We’ll set up a better way to receive those if the work needs them.

If we change how this site collects or uses information, we will update this page and the “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after a change means the new policy applies to information collected from then on.
